ARCHITECTURE with People in Mind
MTA prepared a master plan for a kitchen remodel, remodel to the master bedroom, an addition of a meditative space, and new office space to this Eichler. The first completed phase was the kitchen remodel - where wall and post removal opened the space into a light filled great room. The island combines a dining table making food prep a communal experience. The table top extends to the back of the island and captures cubbies which contain the couples two young children's play things. A new wall cabinet riffs on the mid century style and provides a place for additional storage.
